Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Office Manager to join our team. As an Office Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our office, managing administrative tasks, and providing support to the team. The ideal candidate will have strong accounting skills and experience with various accounting software.
Duties:
- Manage and coordinate office activities and operations
- Perform general accounting tasks such as debits and credits, account reconciliation, and account analysis
- Maintain accurate financial records using accounting software such as Xero, Quicken, QuickBooks, and Sage
- Assist with budgeting and financial planning
- Handle payroll processing and ensure timely payment of invoices
- Prepare financial reports for management review
- Coordinate meetings and appointments, manage calendars, and make travel arrangements
- Answer phone calls, respond to emails, and handle correspondence
- Order office supplies and maintain inventory
- Ensure office policies and procedures are followed
Experience:
- Proven experience as an Office Manager or similar role
- Strong knowledge of general ledger accounting principles
- Proficient in using accounting software such as Xero, Quicken, QuickBooks, or Sage
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proficient in 10 key typing
